   Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ:

Are there really Government deadlines to be approved for mortgage assistance?

ANSWER:

YES. It's important to get your file in review with your Mortgage Servicing Company immediately. At a certain period prior to an officially scheduled Foreclosure Date, they do not have to review your application. This can be tricky, some Lenders may review your application in that time, but most don't.

FAQ:

Can a lender foreclose on me if I'm in review for a loan modification?

ANSWER:

NO, but you can receive a decline letter at any time, even close to the Foreclosure date.

FAQ:

If I lost my job and/or I have a medical disability, is my lender required to modify my loan?

ANSWER:

NO. There are generally no cases in which the lender or the investor of the loan is required to modify your loan.
